Competitive Eating News
Joey Chestnut won’t be allowed to compete  in Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest this Fourth of July, and won’t defend the Mustard Belt, due to a sponsorship deal with Impossible Foods – a brand that sells meat substitutes. Major League Eating, the organization which sanctions the contest, said he’s welcome back when his sponsorship deal is over.  Chestnut won the competition in 2023, downing 62 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to earn his 16th Nathan’s title.
