Energy Aviation and the Williamsport Regional Airport are hosting an air show and open house on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00AM until 4:00PM. The event is free and open to the public with food and refreshments available for purchase! There will be aircraft performing fly overs starting at noon and over 30 aircraft will be on display from World War II Bombers to Modern Day Trainers. Planes like the TBM Avenger, the B25 Michell, an L39 Trainer, a C54 Spirit of Freedom and many more! Plus there will be a World War II encampment of military reenactors in uniforms with all the time period equipment including a tank manufactured in Berwick, PA in 1941. Plus, tours of Penn Tech and the Federal Express 727 will also be available.
At 7:30PM, the Montoursville Rotary will be hosting a "USO styled" hangar dance with a live band playing the traditional 40s "Big Band Sound". Tickets for the dance are available for purchase at Energy Aviation. Call 570-368-2651!
